First Base: Membership

Second Base: Maturity

Third Base: Ministry
New classes every four to six months. Must complete Second
Base Questionnaire and return to Debbie Howard in order to

As
stated on our home page, the purpose of Kentwood Heights Baptist
Church is to celebrate God's love through our lives (Magnification),
to spread the message of Christ (Mission), to learn and obey the
word of God (Maturity), to help people discover their area of
service (Ministry) and to establish a loving community with other
believers (Membership).
To accomplish our purpose, we use the familiar metaphor of the baseball diamond. Each base represents a specific phase in a person's walk with God and Kentwood Heights Baptist Church. The ultimate goal of each purpose (base) is always to magnify (worship) God.
First Base: Membership - Great Beginnings
This four-hour class is usually held the first Saturday of the following months: January, April, July and October. The class is a prerequisite for anyone who wished to become a member of Kentwood Heights Baptist Church. For more information contact the church office or Shirley Starr.
Second Base: Maturity
This class is offered once per quarter (January, April, July and October) for three consecutive weeks for two hours per week. The focus of the class is prayer, Bible reading/study, giving and fellowship. Prerequisite: Completion of First Base. For more information contact the church office or Debbie Howard.
Third Base: Ministry - Network
This two-hour class held for three consecutive weeks seeks to help you understand God's design for you in the church. This is accomplished through discovering your spiritual gifts, your passion and your personality. After completion of this class, you will schedule a meeting with a Ministry Guide who will help you find your ministry at Kentwood Heights Baptist Church. Home Plate: Mission/Evangelism - Contagious Christianity
This four week class helps you learn how to share your faith
based upon your own personal style. Not everyone can go door-to-door
to share the message of Christ's salvation! For more information
