Definition: a one8t is a complete turn around, a change in direction, a step or stage in a process, the Student ministry at Kentwood Heights Baptist Church.

What happens at one8t?

In a typical evening we begin with a few high energy worship songs and a relevant message from God’s Word that students can relate to an understand. After a 10 minute break, Students split up into “360.” A 360 is a small group of students (no more than and an adult leader. In a 360, students can discuss the message, talk about life issues, pray and encourage each other.

The Who, What, Where, When and Why’s of ONE8T

Who: students in grades 6 - 12

What: laugh, hang with friends, hear what God has to say about everyday life, sing songs that lift us up

Where: Kentwood Heights Baptist Church from 5:00 - 8:00 pm - 5-6 pm is hang-time; 6-6:50 pm ONE8T music and message; 7-8 pm 360’s

Why: to meet others who have some of the same issues and questions in life as you and find out how God’s word can help you!
