Querétaro Partners,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for our people group. Your
prayers are making eternal differences in the lives of our people.  Jody
and I know that you already have plenty to pray about on the street
where you live. None the less, the time you make daily to pray for those
who do not know Jesus in Mexico does not go un-noticed by the Father.
This past week we made contacts in several different communities
where we had not yet worked. Please pray for the municipio of
Cadereyta and the 20000+ who live there. We currently only know of
one Christian family in this town. Also pray for the small village of
La Esperanza in the municipio of Colón this is an area where we
really want to see a house church started prior to heavy influence from
the Jehovah's Witness group.
I would also like to ask you to take on another prayer task. We have
become convinced, through scripture, that much of our opposition in
several areas is spiritual rather than physical. When you pray would you
ask the Holy Spirit to remove the barriers or strongholds that we find
are blinding our people. At times it is difficult to look into the eyes
of our people and see the spiritual void and little desire to receive
the free grace of God. Please pray that our Baptist brothers
would receive training in Spiritual Warfare. This is a brand new topic
for a lot of our people.
Please pray for Irma and the bible study group in her home.
There are a few teens who want to join this group and study the bible
but their parents are prohibiting them from associating with the
"evangelicals." Please continue to pray for the area of San Isidro
and the few new converts that are living there. Please pray for Alfredo
and his call to ministry that he will receive our church planters
training.
Thank you for your prayers for my father. We have sent out a separate
prayer note about his condition. Please continue to pray for him.
