Dear faithful prayer partners,
 Hello
praying family,
Thank you for your prayers for team
tequís and our people group. We
could not do what the Lord has called us to do without the presence of the
Holy Spirit and your prayers.
We are in the middle of a lot of planning for the months of July and
August. We are preparing to reach into 5 communities in the municipality
of San Juan del Rio. These communities have never been targeted, to our
knowledge, with any type of gospel presentation. The communities are: La
Paz, La Floresta, Las Águilas, Mexico, and Pedregozo. We have been
training a church in San Juan del Rio to help with the endeavor. Pray-ers
this could touch as many as 8000 homes and nearly 45,000 people. The
church has organized three days of prayer walking in these communities.
Churches from the Naches River Baptist Association south of Dallas,and
Pisgah Baptist Church, Rice, Virginia have joined with us to plant houses
churches in these areas. Specifically pray for:
- The communities listed above.
- The dates of 2nd through 12th of August.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to give us at least 45 possibilities to
establish house churches in these communities.
- First Baptist Church of Crockett and Trinity Baptist Church as
they form teams. (both partnering churches from Texas)
- Iglesia Bautista Jerusalén in San Juan who will be our host
church.
- Ask the Lord to give us clear skies to project the Jesus Movie in
the evenings.
We are thankful for the many people who have shown a renewed interest
in reaching the lost of Querétaro. The third week of August we will have
partners here with us who have a desire to a church planting movement
begin here in Querétaro. Please pray for the workers from Harvest
Baptist Fellowship as they serve our Lord. This week we will be
working with a group of volunteers from Trinity Baptist Church of east
Texas. Please pray for these 5 brothers as they serve along side of us.
Also please pray for Alonzo and Lorena our close friends whom we
have been witnessing to. Also please pray for June Furakawa who is
seeking spiritual truth. Since moving we have been unable to have the time
necessary to meet with June. Please pray for Miguel & Deresa
also who live south of us in Amealco. We desperately want to start a house
church in their home as Amealco has NO Christian witness at all. Please
pray for Irma from Manantiales, we had a house church meeting in her
home but is has ceased and we need to regroup these ones. Don't forget
to pray for Garry & Lori Jones as they are in the midst of
language training in Guadalajara. The city of Querétaro, with its nearly
1,000,000 people, needs a missionary presence and Garry & Lori will
fill this void soon. Please pray for Jody's parents as they travel to
Querétaro to help us in late July and part of August. I'm sorry I do
not have an update on Steve Young to share with you. Please
continue to pray for his recovery from surgery on his spinal column. I
would ask you to pray for Juan Gabriel Flores as he has returned to
Guanajuato seeking the Lord's direction in his ministry. Please pray
for Estel, Juan's wife, who should deliver their third baby this week.
A special thank-you to all of you whom have helped us with the Agua
Viva booklets. This gospel of John has been a great door opener for us in
the outlying communities. We love you and thank the Lord for each of you.
