Hello Pray-ers,

Thank you for your faithful prayers last month and also for your faithful giving to mission causes. We have been busy with everything the Lord has presented to us over this last month. Please pray and continue to pray for the following special requests.

  1. The house church in San Juan del Rio is continuing and we have been visiting specific lost families and encouraging them to know the Lord and also come with us on Sunday mornings and study the bible. Please continue to pray for this house church.
     
  2. Iglesia Bautista Jerusalén in San Juan del Rio is trying to rebuild spiritually and impact their community. Please pray for the few families who remain. Also please pray for Jody and me as we teach them healthy church principles on Sunday nights.
     
  3. Antonio and Antonia Gonzales are team members who help us in the southern municipalities. Antonio is our team discipler. Please pray for Antonio and Antonia as they have discipleship training time with two new believers and one lost person every week. Also please pray for by name, Ilena, Sergio, and Margarita as they study with Antonio. Ilena is a new believer and Sergio is also. Although Ilena is an adult, when her parents heard she had received Jesus as her only savior they were very angry and are trying to keep her from studying with us. Sergio is a young man of 16 years who has been forbidden by his parents to meet with us any longer. His parents are Catholic who never attended mass but now they feel like they are in a family crisis as their son wants to grow as a Christian young man. Margarita is an older lady who Jody witnessed to one day at a funeral mass for a friend. Margarita did not understand why Jody did not recite the rosary and during a conversation Jody shared with Margarita that we have the privilege to pray directly to Jesus and He hears us. Since then she has been attending sporadically with us in our house church.
     
  4. This month we spent a week with a group of volunteers from Indiana who worked in the city of Querétaro and also in the outlying areas. They joined efforts with the Primera Iglesia Bautista de Querétaro in reaching lost people in several communities. There were numerous decisions for Christ and the Querétaro church is working on the follow-up currently. It was a pleasure to work with this church and the group of volunteers from Indiana. Please pray for the new believers and those from the church who are visiting them and discipling them also. Please remember Garry and Lori Jones as they work in the city of Querétaro and are also visiting some of these ones who are seeking to know the Lord.
     
  5. Please remember to pray for Jody and me as we seek communities where there is absolutely no gospel witness.
