Dear Praying Family,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for the lost sheep of Queretaro.
Also thank you very much for remembering us and all the missionaries
working in Middle America. Thank you especially for your giving to the
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering through your local churches.
Let me update you on a couple items. It has been over two months
since I last shared with you what the Lord is doing in the rural
communities of the state of Queretaro. A new house church was started in
the house of Christian Gonzalez. The Lord has been working “overtime” in
Christian’s life and after a service a couple weeks ago his mother and
sister were saved. So please pray for Francesca, Chris’s mother, and
Carla his sister as they grow in their new faith in Christ Jesus.
Last week we had a theater event with a group of young adults from
Sergio’s school, Palabra de Vida. The group presented a play entitled
“The Rescue” and it was a great time for the community of La Valle.
There were several decisions that night that we are visiting to try to
begin a new house church in this neighborhood. Please pray for the
community of La Valle and the new Christians who live there.
This week we have a meeting with the brothers from the Jerusalen
Baptist church in San Juan del Rio as we try to form for them a new work
plan and a new partnership with a Queretaro church to help them get
their feet back on the ground. Please pray for Iglesia Bautista
Jerusalen.
Next week we have our community cantata in Aquiles Serdan. Lalo and
Lety have worked hours to prepare the Christmas songs with the kids from
the community. For those of you who recognize the names Lalo & Lety,
they returned to our team about two months ago and have been working
diligently with the new believers in Aquiles Serdan.
A couple other items that we ask you to pray about are these:
- Antonio and Antonia as they develop strategy to multiply
the house church Cristo La Roca Fiel.
- Lupita and Pedro from Independencia as we want to keep
the new church in their house going strong.
- Lalo and Lety as we try to start a new church in their
house in Pedregozo.
We thank you for the letters of encouragement and the gifts that are
sent to help plant multiplying churches in Queretaro. Please have a
great Christmas and enjoy the time with your family members and your
church family also. Thank you for your faithful giving to international
missions.
